Folk Art in the USA-Slotin Art Festival 2012

Michael Banks---From Marcia Weber Art Objects, Montgomery, AL

Last night I visited the Slotin outsider folk art festival in Norcross, Ga. For many years I have loved folk artists with their creative free spirits and their whimsical imaginations. They never fail to charm and their unique perception flows into their work and breathes life into it. Here are some photos I took at the show to share with others who are also interested in folk art in USA.

  2. I enjoyed looking at the many wall paintings that you have done. Not being very handy with a paintbrush, even though
I know what I like in the way of art, I took the easier option to order this canvas print from the site wahooart.com .

It’s an unusual work called Forest music 1, by Remedios Varo Uranga, a Spanish-Mexican woman artist.
